Dropbox is a cloud storage service that allows you to save files, photos, and videos in the cloud and access them from anywhere. However, the default Dropbox folder location on Windows might not be the most convenient place for you. Fortunately, you can move your Dropbox folder location to another location on your PC. How to Move the Dropbox Folder Location on Windows
To move your Dropbox folder location, first, open the Dropbox folder location you want to move.
Click the Dropbox icon on the taskbar.
This opens the Dropbox folder location.
Right-click the Dropbox icon.
From the context menu, click Properties.
This opens the Dropbox Properties dialog box.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under the General section, click Move.
This opens the Move dialog box.
Enter the new location in the Move dialog box.
Click OK.
You will now see the Dropbox folder location in the new location.
If you want to move the Dropbox folder location to an external drive, then you will need to connect the external drive to your computer.
Right-click the Dropbox icon.
From the context menu, click Properties.
This opens the Dropbox Properties dialog box.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under the General section, click Move.
This opens the Move dialog box.
Click the Browse button.
This opens the Select Location dialog box.
Select the external drive from the Select Location dialog box.
Click OK.
You will now see the Dropbox folder location on the external drive.
To move your Dropbox folder location back to the default location, just follow the same steps, but in step 5, select the C:\Users\username\Dropbox folder.
